Broxbourne Fact File
The present church of St Augustine was constructed in 1460, though there was achurch on the site prior to that.
It is thought that the rebuild of the church was funded by Sir John Say, the Lord of the Manor. Sir John and Lady Say's tomb remains in the church today.
To the rear of the church is the newly restored Bxoxbourne Mill.
